    Add all the ingredients for the slaw to a large bowl and mix well. Leave at room temperature while you prepare the pork.

    Place the pork loin steaks on a chopping board. Lay some cling film over the top of the steaks and use a ladle or rolling pin to lightly bash the steaks until they are slightly flattened and of even thickness. Put the flour on a large plate, the beaten egg in a shallow bowl, and the panko breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl. Dip each steak in the flour until evenly covered, patting off any excess, followed by the beaten egg and finally the panko. Press the panko mixture on each steak to ensure they are evenly coated.

    Heat the air fryer to 200°C and air fry each steak for 6-7 minutes on each side, turning halfway through.

    While the pork is cooking, mix all the ingredients for the tonkatsu sauce in a small bowl.

    Once the pork is crispy, golden and cooked all the way through, leave to rest on a board for 2 minutes before slicing.

    Serve the sliced steaks with the slaw and tonkatsu sauce for drizzling or dipping.
